Cindy Hix (1980)
Vice president & director of client services

Cindy graduated from Indiana University, magna cum laude, in 1976, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Advertising. She came to PCS in 1980 to provide client instruction and support for general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory control, and job costing applications.

She was responsible for organizing the customer service department, implementing training and support programs, and establishing documentation standards. In 1985, Cindy was promoted to manager of customer service.

Named vice president in 1996, Cindy’s duties continue to include managing customer service department and have been expanded to include working more closely with sales, programming, and hardware departments to further enhance our product lines.

Cindy’s major focus is, as it has been throughout her time here, as a liaison between our customers (both existing and prospective) and the PCS staff. As she describes it, "Making sure that the products and services we offer have the features and usability that our customers need." Once Cindy develops an understanding of what PCS customers need, she devotes her efforts to insuring that — as a company — we do whatever we can to meet those needs.

Cindy is a long-time advocate of physical fitness and she enjoys swimming, aerobics, and other forms of exercise. She is also a member of the International Networking Association.
