Purchase Orders

Controlling your inventory -- knowing what's in stock, what's on order, what to order, what's selling, what's not selling -- these are critical issues for any company that maintains an inventory.

The PCS inventory control module makes look-up easy. You can find an item by searching for a part number, a key word, a cross-reference, and more.

If you regularly sell several items together, you can create "kits". Selecting the kit in the order entry module selects all the parts whether the kit contains 2, 2 dozen, or 200 line items. This doesn't hamper your ability to sell the component parts individually, of course.

When it's time to take a critical look at your inventory, the PCS inventory control system gives you the tools to do the job right. You can examine your inventory by vendor, by product line, by period, by part number -- any way that gives you the insight you need to make sound business decisions.

The PCS purchase order module creates suggested orders based on historical data. And the order entry module gives you the option to create a new purchase order (or add to an existing purchase order) when ordered items are out of stock.

And when back-ordered items arrive, you can print a fulfilment list to show who's been promised which parts.

Once you've created and approved the purchase order, you can fax it directly from the system. No need to print it and carry it to the fax machine.
